VICTOR ROAD TO THE BEACHES OPEN – CANCELLATION

The Victor Road to the Beaches Open that was set to take place on January 11th at Glovertown Academy has been canceled due to low player turn out.

Refunds back to players who registered for the tournament will be processed through PayPal over the next few days.
Players are encouraged to participate in any of the number of tournaments remaining to be held this season.
The following tournaments will occur in January/February:
Victor St. John’s Open 2020 – January 18th
Victor Strait of Belle Isle Open 2020 – February 1 (Flower’s Cove)
Victor Coast of Bays Open 2020 – February 8 (St. Alban’s)

Badminton is the fastest racquet sport in the word, a shuttle can reach speeds in excess of 490 km/hr

Badminton is a highly aerobic sport which can be played throughout one's lifetime.

In a typical two-game match, a player can run approximately one mile.

There are two types of shuttles: plastic and feather which are made with goose feathers. A feather shuttle has 16 feathers and weighs between 4.74 and 5.50 grams.
