The Canada Games Manager for 2023 must be a female, Competition Development Coach.

While there is no formal training for managers, coaching certification requires completion of a number of courses.
Those interested in being included in an eligibility list for the role of manager, while gaining certification as a Competition Development Coach, are asked to contact Badminton NL by March 25.

Badminton is the fastest racquet sport in the word, a shuttle can reach speeds in excess of 490 km/hr

Badminton is a highly aerobic sport which can be played throughout one's lifetime.

In a typical two-game match, a player can run approximately one mile.

There are two types of shuttles: plastic and feather which are made with goose feathers. A feather shuttle has 16 feathers and weighs between 4.74 and 5.50 grams.
