The 2016 Yonex Canadian Masters will be held at the Canada Games Centre in Halifax from April 11-16, 2016.  This will be the first time in a long time that the tournament has been held this side of Quebec.

Badminton is the fastest racquet sport in the word, a shuttle can reach speeds in excess of 490 km/hr

Badminton is a highly aerobic sport which can be played throughout one's lifetime.

In a typical two-game match, a player can run approximately one mile.

There are two types of shuttles: plastic and feather which are made with goose feathers. A feather shuttle has 16 feathers and weighs between 4.74 and 5.50 grams.
